1. Check your connection allowance. Each subscription includes one active stream. Close playback on other devices before testing.
2. Compare channels. If one channel alone fails, note its name, quality label and the time. Send those details to support rather than rebuilding your playlist.
3. Compare network conditions. Pause large downloads and try Ethernet if supported. If you use Wi-Fi, test closer to the router. A speed test alone does not measure every playback problem.

Choose a tvOS-compatible player

1. Ask support which current App Store player supports your account on Apple TV. A player installed on iPhone is not automatically available on tvOS.
2. Check the publisher and any separate app fee, then install the confirmed player.

4. Allow the library to load and test live TV and a movie separately. Stop streaming on other devices because the subscription includes one active connection.

Check picture and network settings

Use a video format supported by your television and HDMI connection. Do not force Dolby Vision or HDR when your display or source does not support it. Review the Apple TV video settings and the available Match Content options for your model.

If your Apple TV model has an Ethernet port, you can compare a wired connection with Wi-Fi. On models without it, use a stable Wi-Fi connection. Do not buy a USB-C adapter based on the old guide.
